Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Sales leader managing merchant and Acquirer partnerships. This is an exciting and key role in the fast growing APSL organization. Candidates should be driven, curious, and go getter to build business. In addition, you will remove barriers to Customer adoption of the APSL Product solutions and collaborate with the broader cross functional team to deliver appropriate solutions to merchants or Acquirers

Key Responsibilities

  • The candidate is primarily responsible for the success of the APSL Payment gateway platform

  • AuroPay, driving Sales on the platform through Acquirers, Channel partners and with Merchants

  • The candidate will develop and manage opportunities pipeline to meet Quarterly, Annual targets and Specific responsibilities

  • Implement Sales strategy for the market to make AuroPay a formidable brand in the payments ecosystem

  • Drive execution of the commercial strategy based on an understanding of the B2C, ecommerce, mCommerce and overall payments ecosystem in India

  • Execute go-to-market plans while identifying and commercializing partnership deals with Acquirers, merchants and channel partnership opportunities

  • Identify target merchant segments, customer-types and partners to enable revenue growth for the business

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Must have minimum 4-6 years of experience in the payment industry with broad knowledge of payments processing and merchant acquiring with special focus in the eCommerce business, with at least 1- 2 years of managing Enterprise accounts.

  • Preferred previous work experience in Merchant Acquiring business, while specific Industry sales – Insurance, Education, Hospitality, Healthcare or Telecom is also welcome to apply

  • Good understanding of technical aspects in e commerce payments flows and ability to manage initial technical discussions related to potential solutions

  • Must have experience in engaging payment clients (merchants, banks, processors)

  • Must be fluent in English, Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Graduate (MBA or equivalent degree is added advantage)
